Local document recognition from photos for 1C
A 1C extension: a photo, scan or PDF of an invoice fills the document in 30–60 seconds. Local AI, no internet and no cloud.

- Task
- Accountants and warehouse staff re-type supplier invoices by hand: UPD and TORG-12, line by line. One document takes 10–15 minutes, and there are dozens a day. Cloud OCR services are not an option because documents with prices and tax IDs would go to third-party servers.
A 1C extension that uses a local AI model running on the client's computer through the free LM Studio. Data never leaves the company, no internet is needed.
How it works: take a photo or scan a document (phone photo, scan, PDF, multi-page), press “Recognize”, review and post. The extension detects the document type, finds the supplier and matches items from the nomenclature catalog.
Features: UPD and TORG-12, automatic type detection, JPG, PNG and PDF formats, item matching, supplier lookup. New document types are added as a separate service, and filling rules are tuned to your accounting policy.
Tested on 1C:Trade Management 11.5 and 1C:Accounting 3.0; for KA, ERP, UNF and customized configurations a custom integration is done. The source code is open.
Sold on Infostart: the extension for UT 11.5 or BP 3.0 with installation and setup for 12,200 ₽ (about $150), a bundle with custom integration for 30,500 ₽ (about $375), a new document type for 3,000 ₽ (about $37), technical support for 3,000 ₽ per month (about $37).
